NBA - Pre-season: Embiid returns, Irving is in shape

Five NBA pre-season games were played tonight. Philadelphia finally regaled the victory against the Nets. The Celtics preserve their invincibility against Charlotte thanks to a very fitting Kyrie Irving.

Joel Embiid has finally replayed and his return was rather impressive. The pivot finished the match at 22 points (including 14/18 throws!), 7 rebounds, 3 assists and 1 against in just 15 minutes. After three pre-season games, the Sixers were still hooded and their victory against the Nets (133-114) particularly convinced. With his 26 points and 9 rebounds, Dario Saric also participated in the Philadelphia offensive festival. Brooklyn, on the other hand, recorded his first loss despite the performances of DeAngelo Russell (24 points) and Caris LeVert (16 points), out of bench. But Philly with the return of "The Process", its pivot Cameroon, seemed really unstoppable. Timothé Luwawu-Cabarrot, on his side, does not have to blush for his performance. For his second outing of the year, the Frenchman finished the match with 11 points, 4 rebounds and 2 interceptions.
Kyrie Irving is already very fit
The Celtics completed their undefeated pre-season series (four games, four wins). That night, Boston dominated Charlotte (108-100) and Kyrie Irving (16 points, 7/11 in shooting in 27 minutes) showed that he was fit. From the start of the game, the Celtics started with a 4/4 at three points, under his impulse. Opposite, the Hornets clung and relied on Dwight Howard and rookies Dwyane Bacon and Monk. The bench brought a lot with Malik Monk who even allowed Charlotte to lead the scoring. The Frenchman Guerschon Yabusele missed his entry (Two marchers and four faults). Thanks to its star Kyrie Irving, Boston was in front of the break (51-38). At the return of the locker room, the trend did not reverse. The gap has even continued to increase. Without straining, the Celtics flirted with the 20-point gap until the Hornets, deprived of Batum, Kidd-Gilchrist and Lamb, took back the score in the last moments.
